Colorado Fire Fest
It’ll only take one look at their ICONIC wedding attire to recognize that Meghan & Taylor know how to have a good time! Almost exactly 2 years after eloping during the pandemic, these lovebirds decided it was finally time to celebrate their nuptials with friends and family. Inspired by live music and knowing they wanted to feature their friends, Fireside Collective, we decided on a backyard music festival by day, psychedelic rave by night!
Meghan & Taylor
Meghan & Taylor might be the 2 busiest people on the planet - whether they’re jet setting off to speak at a conference as experts in solar energy, taking care of a friend going through a rough patch, or visiting family and chosen family who are scattered all over the world.
They knew they wanted to throw an epic party to celebrate their love with their favorite people, and they also knew their schedules would never allow them to plan it the way they envisioned it. Enter: Hitched AF! We took their music festival vision and recruited an incredible vendor team to pull it off, and we got to flex our creative skills with a couple of fun DIY projects to bring it all together.
Full Service Planning
The decor was designed to take guests on a journey from colorful, daytime music festival in the afternoon to neon glow-in-the-dark rave after the sun went down.

We carefully selected food vendors, both to make sure guests were well fed throughout the night and to pay homage to the places that are important to Meghan & Taylor. A BBQ station and homemade banana pudding served as a nod to Taylor’s North Carolina roots, while Meghan’s home in Maine was represented in the blueberry cupcakes. It was also important to Meghan that the vegetarian options be tasty and plentiful, and The Easy Vegan delivered, serving their incredible vegan street food from their pop-up kitchen. And a late night pizza order kept the late crowd on the dance floor until the sun came up!

To add to the music festival feel, we hired a face painter and a caricature artist which provided fun, interactive ways for guests to participate.

“No wedding stuff; just a really fun party” was the request. So we skipped the ceremony entirely, instead having an open-house style party where guests could come and go as they pleased until all hours of the morning.

We came to Jennifer with our “wedding celebration music festival summer concert series” vision. Jen diligently sifted through our ideas, entertained them, and ultimately improved each one, taking care of all the details to make our event a reality and even better than we could have imagined possible.
